Lee Nedkoff

Dr Lee Nedkoff is a Senior Research Fellow in cardiovascular disease epidemiology at The university of Western Australia. She co-leads the Cardiovascular Research Group at UWA, and is the head of the Cardiology Population Health lab at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, based at UWA. Dr Nedkoff currently holds a National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellowship, focusing on the monitoring and surveillance of cardiovascular disease in Australia. Dr Nedkoff leads a research program on population studies measuring the burden of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary heart disease, stroke, peripheral arterial disease and atrial fibrillation. She has expertise in the use of multi-jurisdictional linked health data in cardiovascular epidemiological studies, with a focus of her research being on age-and sex-specific trends, and development of robust methods and analytic approaches for using linked data in cardiovascular disease research.
